In SANITY, key scientific aims are to understand: 

  • how distinct ablation treatments can best be combined with different immunotherapy approaches.
  • the impact of the tumor microenvironment (TME: hypoxia, metabolism, glycosylation, composition) on treatment efficacy.
  • which immune pathways are responsible for therapy success or failure.
  • how to select the best combination therapy for the individual patient.
  • how to develop a route for responsible and sustainable clinical adoption of immunotherapy treatment and tumor ablation.

Molecular prognostic and predictive factors in solid tumors
