Guido van Mierlo is Assistant Professor in the department of Medical BioSciences. In our group, we are interested in defining how immune cells can interact with each other and how this is impacted in disease-contexts including autoimmune diseases and cancer. We mainly use state-of-the-art proteomics and (single cell) sequencing technologies to identify and functionally investigate membrane proteins involved in immune cell-mediated interactions.
