This is done because publication of personal information violates the privacy of employees and/or because once it is published, the intellectual property of a research strategy can no longer be protected. Having this information in the public domain makes it possible for others to follow and work according to the same scientific mindset.
Therefore, more details are made public in a later stage. After the research project is completed, the investigators will publish the results in the scientific literature and in many cases also inform the media about their conclusions. Thus everyone can benefit from the knowledge acquired during the project.
