We aim to optimize the quality, safety, and outcomes of surgery, through the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative interventions.
Goals
- To identify the right surgical treatment for the individual patient, including patient selection and the definition of the pre-operative plan, tailored to the individual patient.
- To optimise the execution of the surgical plan, involving the development and implementation of technology such as robotics and navigation, medical extended reality, and imaging techniques.
- To evaluate the outcome of surgical intervention on the improvement of the quality of life of the patient, providing crucial feedback for evaluation, further development and optimization.
