Our purpose
We aim to unravel which supportive care interventions are most effective for which outcome (e.g., symptom/toxicity, functioning, health-related quality of life), for whom, when, and how (i.e. via which underlying mechanism).
Goals
- Identifying patients in need of supportive care interventions.
- Development and evaluation of supportive care interventions.
- Empowering patients, understanding patients’ resilience, and self-management strategies.
- Strategies to monitor symptoms/toxicity, functioning and health-related quality of life to facilitate timely self-management or referral to supportive care interventions.
- Implementation of effective supportive care interventions in practice or de-implementation of less-effective supportive care interventions.
