Goals

  • To develop innovative infection prevention measures, diagnostic strategies, antimicrobial therapy and outbreak preparedness/response measures (innovation science).
  • To promote the systematic uptake of proven innovative care into routine practice, policy and guidelines (implementation science).
  • To ensure that insights obtained from research findings in the above two domains are translated into educational programs (educational research).
  • To extend methodology on efficient research design and data collection related to all the above domains.
