Goals

  • Unraveling the molecular and immunological mechanisms involved in kidney disease and kidney transplantation. 
  • Development of advanced pre-clinical model systems to study Kidney biology and pathology, and test new therapeutics.
  • Improving (genetics) diagnostics of patients with rare and common kidney diseases.
  • Optimizing patient care with clinical trials in glomerular- and tubular disease, and in kidney transplantation.
