We aim to make ground-breaking discoveries that unravel the pathophysiology of kidney diseases, and, as a consequence, drive innovation in clinical care for kidney disease patients.
Goals
- Unraveling the molecular and immunological mechanisms involved in kidney disease and kidney transplantation.
- Development of advanced pre-clinical model systems to study Kidney biology and pathology, and test new therapeutics.
- Improving (genetics) diagnostics of patients with rare and common kidney diseases.
- Optimizing patient care with clinical trials in glomerular- and tubular disease, and in kidney transplantation.
