Our purpose
We aim to enable that all patients receive an offer for a lifestyle program that is tailored, acceptable, accessible, feasible, evidence-based, and cost-effective.
Goals
To study how to:
- best connect the living environment of the patient, where lifestyle needs to be adapted, with the healthcare system.
- optimize the collaboration between and performance of social and healthcare professionals in lifestyle promotion from a behavioural point of view.
- optimize the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of a common trunk of generic lifestyle advice.
- evaluate underlying mechanisms and effectiveness of lifestyle and lifestyle programs targeting specific subpopulations (e.g. people in low socio-economic position, patient groups with specific diseases).
- optimally involve citizens and patients in the design and evaluation of lifestyle projects / programs to improve accessibility and match their needs and capabilities.
- optimize targeting, content and evaluation of lifestyle programs through smart data (re-)use and analysis.
