Goals

  • Increasing qualitative and quantitative insights in current contextualization of communication, its integration in health care planning, documentation and information transfer, taking sex, gender, culture and other factors related to health inequity (social exclusion, poverty, inadequate housing, having a lower social economic status, having limited intellectual capacities) into account.
  • Developing new and actualising existing knowledge and theory around contextualized communication and care processes.
  • Developing, actualising and implementing methods to quantify and document personalized, understandable contextualized communication and care.
  • Developing and implementing interventions to increase personalized contextual communication and care.
  • Evaluating its impact on patients and relatives, on healthcare professionals, and costs.
