Goals

  • To optimize breast cancer screening by developing and optimizing imaging technologies and optimizing the interpretation of images by both breast radiologists and AI methods.
  • To move from age-based to personalized risk-based breast cancer screening by developing new risk prediction models and personalizing screening-initiated follow-up.
  • To develop, evaluate, and validate new diagnostic imaging modalities for breast cancer diagnosis, lesion classification, and staging.
  • To personalize breast cancer treatment by testing and validating minimally invasive therapeutic options to decrease the burden of treatment and by developing and validating new imaging technologies to fully characterize tumor status before and during treatment.
  • We organize the Patient advisory board Women's Cancers.
