Aims

  • Validate questionnaires to detect high Fear of Cancer Recurrence (FCR) and investigate the prevalence of FCR in different tumor types and the natural course of FCR over time.
  • Develop psychological interventions for distress and FCR in cancer survivors.
  • Study fear of progression, uncertainty and scanxiety in patients with advanced cancer on ongoing systemic treatment such as immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
  • Develop novel methods and interventions to improve and provide support for patients with advanced cancer.
