About
We aim to understand the pathophysiology of neurodevelopmental disorders. We use a multi‐level strategy that combines functional genomics and molecular & cellular neurobiological approaches, such as the generation and characterization of iPSC-derived human neural cells and mouse models.

Aims
- Understand the synaptic basis of network dysfunction in neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Develop novel human stem cell based models systems to study neurodevelopmental disorders, using engeneered 2D and 3D brain organoid models.
- integrate fundamental neurobiological research with clinical applications and personalized medicine.
