We focus on precision medicine, investigating and developing artificial intelligence models to better understand diseases, discover novel biomarkers, and help physicians to improve their routine diagnostics and select the right treatments to help patients.
Aims
- Develop novel AI models to better understand diseases using digital pathology data.
- Use AI to learn spatial relationships in tissue via (multiplex) immunohistochemistry, spatial proteomics and transcriptomics.
- Discover and develop novel computational predictive biomarkers, to improve treatment planning such as cancer immunotherapy.
- Build computer-aided diagnosis systems to support physicians by automating parts of their diagnostics routine tasks.
