About
We specialize in research on novel image acquisition, processing and analysis in diagnostic x-ray based imaging, particularly for breast and body computed tomography.
Aims
Our research scope includes:
- Physical and perceptual evaluation of image quality
- Radiation dosimetry
- Tomographic image reconstruction
- Advanced computational simulation methods
We aim to conduct state-of-the-art and clinically relevant research through collaboration with clinicians from the Radboudumc department of Medical Imaging, and partnerships with commercial entities, medical physicists, and scientists from around the world.
Internationally we are also known as
Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging (AXTI) group
