- Place cold, damp compresses (facecloths or towels) on the swollen area for the first 24 hours
- Place warm compresses (facecloths or towels) on the swollen area
ELEVATE ARM
Try to keep your arm elevated as much as possible (e.g. by placing a pillow under it while you sit).PAIN MEDICATION

- worsening pain or numbness
- reduced ability to move the arm
