We specialize in advanced and therapy resistant tumors (tumors that do not respond to medication), rare forms and hereditary tumors.Radboudumc’s center of expertise in Thyroid Gland Carcinoma is acknowledged as a center of expertise by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.

Thyroid cancer education is included in the curriculum of the study programs Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.Medical specialists (in training) can also do an internship at our center of expertise and medical and other students can do scientific research at our center. We also contribute to the training and further training of medical specialists and general practitioners through Q and A evenings and refresher training symposia.
