About
This center provides consultation for patients with complex fungal infections. The multidisciplinary team includes internist- infectiologists, physician microbiologists and clinical pharmacologists. They provide assistance in diagnosing fungal infections and establishing a treatment plan. The center also houses the National Fungal Reference Laboratory and coordinates national surveillance research on resistance.
The Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU) has recognized Radboudumc and CWZ as a Center of Expertise for Fungal Infections. Also, the Center of Expertise for Fungal Infections Radboudumc/CWZ has been awarded by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.
