Has your child been born with a cleft lip or cleft palate (schisis)? Then you can get treatment at the Amalia Center for Schisis and Craniofacial Disorders. Here we treat and guide children with a cleft from birth to adulthood.A team of pediatricians, schisis nurses, plastic surgeons, orthodontists, phoniatric specialists, speech therapists, Mouth, Jaw & Face surgeons, clinical geneticists, dentists and neurosurgeons coordinate their treatments.

Our team’s shisis surgeons perform a number of checks after operations via Zaurus, an online video chat program. It can be compared to Skype or FaceTime, a secured environment. Of course, we would like to see you in the hospital when necessary, but in a number of cases it is more practical for you, and works just as well, to contact us via a tablet or computer. Feel free to ask about the possibilities. -
