Meet the Expert: Scite.ai – ChatGPT for Science Liana Barenbrug & Rens Peters

Scite is a Large Language Model (LLM)-based model that can aid researchers. It can be used for discovering and evaluating scientific articles via ‘Smart Citations’. These can be used to assess how a publication has been cited, and if other publications report contrasting or supporting findings.

Furthermore, the AI assistant works similar to ChatGPT, but backs up its claims with scientific sources. From understanding a basic concept, to finding that perfect publication for your discussion, Scite.ai can help!

In this session, Liana Barenbrug and Rens Peters (PhD candidates) will give you an introduction on how and when to use Scite.ai. No prior AI knowledge is required!
