Karel was awarded best poster prize at the FIGON Dutch Medicines Days, 1-3 June 2022 in Leiden, for presenting his work on the role of urate transporters in the difference in cardiovascular outcome between allopurinol and febuxostat. A nice translational achievement of the department Farmacology-Toxicology in collaboration with the University of Twente.
