Shuttle service to the main entrance

A shuttle service runs on the Radboudumc grounds, between the Philips van Leydenlaan (west side) and the Main Entrance (Building A). This shuttle service is a free service for patients and visitors who are less mobile.

For people who are less mobile, the route from the Philips van Leydenlaan to the main entrance may be too long. This is a few hundred meters, and the road also has a large hill. This makes it unsuitable for some people to travel on foot or in a push wheelchair. Once inside the main building, patients and visitors can transfer to a golf cart, which takes people inside to their destination.

Time

The shuttle runs continuously Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and noon and between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The shuttle is an electric vehicle and is recharged between noon and 1 p.m.

Stops

There are three stops for boarding and disembarking:

  • At the main entrance (A building)
  • At the Philips van Leydenlaan (intersection with Geert Grooteplein Zuid)
  • At the Kiss & Ride in front of the traffic circle (near the old main entrance)
