On June 19th, TechleapNL, Radboud university, Radboudumc and the municipality of Nijmegen hosted a successful event where innovative health and high-tech startups shared their view on the challenges and opportunities for the local startup ecosystem.
Some of the main takeaways are:
- Strengthen the network between startups and other local entrepreneurs: there is a lot more to learn from one another and a chance to use each other’s expertise and experience (for instance by developing local mentorships programs);
- Connect academic knowledge and entrepreneurial knowledge by strengthening the relationship between HAN, Radboud university, Radboudumc, ROC Nijmegen;
- Create an honest & entrepreneurial culture in which people dare to fail (and of course in the end: succeed!).
The organizing partners will work together with Briskr and Mercator Launch to evaluate all the input that has been discussed in order to keep focus on making Nijmegen the place to be for health and high-tech startups to grow and create a significant impact.
