Joyce van der Heijden has been awarded the ASCPT 2023 Presidential trainee award. Each year the Scientific Program Committee selects the top scoring abstracts submitted by clinical pharmacologists and translational scientists in training and gives special recognition to these individuals during the ASCPT Annual Meeting. This meeting was on 22 March 2023 at which Joyce received the award which includes a $500 prize and a commemorative certificate.
In recognition of the high-quality abstract titled: 'Optimization of the betamethasone dosing regimen during pregnancy: A combined placenta perfusion and pregnancy PBPK modelling approach', she has also been chosen as a recipient of a Top Poster Ribbon.
