On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October, the Radboud university medical center, Radboud University and the HAN are participating in the 'Weekend van de Wetenschap'.

Open Day Radboudumc: physically and online

Radboud university medical center opens it's doors on Sunday 2 October. Once again, we have a wonderful program for young and old. Join us for a tour to the helicopter deck, do a reanimation training using virtual reality, make your own DNA bracelet, visit the anatomical museum or simply listen with wonder to one of our scientific mini lectures. Are you not able to physically attend our Open Day? Visit us virtually!

The Donders Institute and the Faculty of Science also open their doors during the 'Weekend van de Wetenschap'. On Saturday 1 October you can visit them during their 'Open House'.

VIDI grants for researchers of Radboud university medical center

14 July 2021 Several Radboudumc researchers have been awarded a VIDI grant by the Dutch Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). They each receive a sum of 800,000 euros, which they will use over the next five years to develop their own innovative line of research and to set up a research group. read more

Newborn screening in sight through the discovery of novel disease biomarkers by new technique

8 July 2021 To identify new biomarkers that can be used in the newborn screening protocol, also known as the neonatal heel prick, Karlien Coene and colleagues joined forces with scientists at the Radboud University’s FELIX laser laboratory. They published their findings in The Journal of Clinical Investigation. read more
