June 21st is the longest day of the year. It is also the time come together, listen to a scientific lecture that may help you be a more effective researcher and a better person. This event is to meet other young scientists, celebrate science and have fun! The three Graduate Schools organize the Midsummer Night Event annually and are finally able to do so after covid again. All Radboudumc PhD candidates and postdocs are welcome for drinks, a barbecue and an interesting guest lecture by by Boris Konrad, memory scientist of the Donders Institute for neurosciences.

About the speaker

For Dr. Boris Nikolai Konrad, memory techniques are much more than just tricks and methods for a sport. The benefits in everyday life and work are enormous, especially in times of digitalization and artificial intelligence. This is way he also conducts scientific research into the neuronal basics and applications of memory training and neurotechnology.

Registration

This event is free of charge for all Radboudumc PhD candidates and postdocs. Registration is required before June 14th using the registration form
