Are you searching for a unique collaboration with artists and designers? Research groups can now apply for the Bio Art & Design (BAD) Award 2020. The BAD Award is an international competition that connects talented bio-artists and bio-designers with Dutch research groups from the Life Sciences. Together they develop an bio-art project. The collaboration does not only creates new insights on art and science, it is also a unique experience for both.

Would you or your research group like to collaborate with artists or designers and see your research from a different perspective? Apply now with your research group before 14 October 2019!

How to apply?
Research groups can apply until 14 October 2019. Send an email to badawards@zonmw.nl with the following information:
  • The name of the research group or research organisation
  • A brief popular description of the line of research in English (max. 100 words);
  • Name and contact details of the researcher (see examples on our website)
  • Approval from the head of the department is a condition voor participation.
  • PhD candidates can only participate in collaboration with other researchers.
