We are deeply saddened to hear that Leon van Halder has passed away on 27 March. Until recently, he was Chairman of the Executive Board of Radboud university medical center. Only a few weeks ago, he stepped down from this position because of his illness.
Leon van Halder had been Chairman of Radboud university medical center since April 2015. Under his inspirational leadership, Radboud university medical center continued to develop as a frontrunner in the healthcare of the future, based on the guiding principles of person-centered care, innovation and collaborative networks.
