The European Complement Network (ECN) is a Pan-European non-profit scientific organization managed by researchers and clinicians investigating the complement system (part of the innate immunity) and/or diseases related to it.
ECN activities are managed by a board that consists of 12 to 14 members representing different European countries.

17 March 2022 Jeroen de Baaij, kidney researcher the Radboudumc, receives an ERC Starting Grant worth 1.5 million euros.
