Win a spot to pitch your highly innovative cancer research related business case to an audience of VC and pharma! Ttopstart BV and Merck Ventures are proud to announce the first Biotechnology Showcase Contest on Cancer & Cancer Immunology.

Highly ambitious cancer and cancer immunology researchers are invited to participate in the Biotechnology Showcase Contest. We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who wish to further exploit the outcomes of their research. Your cutting-edge science should be supported by (novel) in-house data on crucial elements of the scientific hypothesis, e.g. proof of principle. Ideally, in vitro or in vivo proof of concept would be present but this is not mandatory.

In case your application is selected you gain the opportunity to pitch your research to the audience of biopharmaceutical executives and investors. Together they represent over €1 billion in available funds to invest in promising, innovative concepts. In addition, you will receive a travel expense compensation* and a free service by ttopstart to develop the business case for your project.

Should your pitch proposal be granted one of the 2 available spots, you will join the other invited speakers to give a pitch on your research and commercial plans to the audience. Pitchers are requested to give a presentation of 8 minutes. Following this the audience will be allowed to give feedback and ask questions.
