Joost Drenth, theme Renal disorders has managed to win the prestigious "Biodonostia Gastroenterology and Hepatology Award 2017".

This prize was awarded to him in San Sebastian, Spain for his contribution to the research on liver disease and management  of patients with liver diseases. Prof. Drenth received this award on February 10 at the institute Biodonostia to San Sebastian from Dr. JM Bañales.

29 April 2019 Joost Drenth, theme Renal disorders, made use of data from an open-label, randomized trial to determine the effects of lanreotide on height-adjusted liver volume and combined height-adjusted liver and kidney volume in patients with ADPKD. They have published their findings in Gastroenterology. read more
