The Weekend of Science takes place in the first weekend of October. During this national event, the Radboud university medical center is also opening its doors again; you are most welcome on Sunday 6 October.
Open day Radboudumc
On Sunday 6 October, there is once again a lot to see and discover for young and old at Radboudumc. In various buildings on our campus fun and informative activities are planned. The doors will be open for interested visitors between 12.00 and 16.30. Please note that the language of the Open day is Dutch.
Program
There are many activities for little children, such as a pop-up OR and the opportunity to donate 'blood' at the Biobank. But we also have an interesting program for older children and adults. For example, CPR training sessions with VR goggles or showcases of newest health products in the innovation lab.
Where?
The activities are spread across different buildings. In addition to activities in the Experience Center and in our main building, the exclusive High Level Isolation Unit is on display. The Dentistry building is also opening its doors again.
Registration for time-dependent activities
It is possible to register in advance for so-called 'time-dependent activities'. For example, for a tour at the department of Internal Medicine or the Intensive Care Unit. Of course, you can also join a lecture on 'comfort care in children' or a workshop about 'good care'. You can register via Open Day 2024. There you will also find all additional information, such as an interactive map and practical information about accessibility. Registration is required only for time-limited tours. Admission to activities and buildings is free.
Weekend of Science
Throughout the Netherlands, a large number of organizations participate in the Weekend of Science (Weekend van de Wetenschap).
