In fact, a report by the WRR states that by 2040, one in four people will need to work in healthcare to cope with the increasing workload. Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) offer a solution? In the science program Focus, Petra Grijzen investigates the potential of AI in the hospital. To do so, she spoke with Geert Litjens, professor of AI in Healthcare, and pathologist Maschenka Balkenhol.
