During this Meet the Expert session, you will learn the fundamentals of federated learning on distributed datasets. You will explore how models can learn from data while keeping it secure, a crucial approach in today's regulatory landscape. With hands-on guidance, you will be introduced to the PCNtoolkit, a Python package designed to support normative modeling in federated settings. By the end of the session, you will have the knowledge to apply federated learning techniques and test your skills through practical exercises. Please bring your own laptop with a fresh Anaconda environment with Python 3.12.
