In this one-week Summer School, you will learn about the role of gut microbiota in mental health. You will also get hands-on experience with analysing gut microbiota data, and discuss amongst each other how to design, conduct and interpret experiments on the associations between the gut microbiome and the brain. Workshops and interactive lectures will be given by a group of international experts.

Who can apply?
We welcome participants from various backgrounds, including nutrition, medicine, (micro)biology, neuroscience, behavioural science and psychiatry. We welcome master students, PhD students, postdocs and professionals who are interested in doing research on the gut-brain axis. Experience with statistical analysis in R is advised.
